Delightful on Dudley

When I first met this client, they had been living in the house for a year and really did not like the family room. It had a stone surround that went half way up the wall which looked awful and a second ledge/mantle on top of that. They also had the TV on the long wall in very small media center. It was clear to me that we needed to make this very large room feel smaller, more cozy and intimate. We took down half the stone and the second ledge, added a beautiful gray color on the walls and stunning large chandelier to fill the upper space. Then we added beautiful sofas and chairs and very large ottoman to create a conversation area as well a comfortable TV viewing space.
