These CR Laine chairs are in a ticking stripe with blues and white shades.

This beach side home was in need of some lighter and brighter colors. We painted the walls in soft yellow. We used white sheers on the windows and the chaise and sofa are really deep in a blue chenille fabric from Restoration Hardware.

This is a low 4 post bed frame with a bench at the foot. The drapes are in an ivory and green silk wide striped pattern with a small pinch pleat.

The master bedroom needed new furniture, bedding and drapery. We added a dark ebony large nine drawer dresser and mirror with reading chair and lamp.

The antique nautical map was framed and we used two British Columbian inspired chairs and table to create an anchor and sitting area.

Accessories
The large plant in the corner helps bring some of the outside landscaping into the room and the window treatment reflects a soft blue from the water that is in the backdrop of this yard and view.

We added a new rug –lighter in color to keep the room feeling bright and open. In the wall unit we added some personal items and some coastal accessories to keep the eye interested and moving throughout the shelves.

Behind the sofa is sofa table with a Simon Pierce lamp and some accessories to help break up the back view of the sofa upon entering. We added some blue pillows and a throw to coordinate some of the sea inspired colors.

This entry needed some character and warmth. We added accessories that were coastal and nautical inspired such as the mirror and giant shell. The buffet lamps add extra lighting and ambience.
